I am proud to say that I am a Green Fuse trained celebrant, and as well as being a member of the Green Fuse Funeral Celebrants Guild I am also a member of the Institute of Civil Funerals. 

Green Fuse is renowned for its modern approach to funerals and working closely with families to devise personal funerals. Celebrants who train with Green Fuse receive training from award winning funeral directors and receive more face to face training than any other funeral celebrant training course.  They leave training with the skills to work with families to create beautiful unique services which they will then write and confidently deliver.

Underpinning the face to face training is the in depth study of a one hundred page manual which must be thoroughly understood in order to produce fourteen written assignments for accreditation.  A Green Fuse trained celebrant will hold the Nationally Accredited Level 3 Diploma, carry professional indemnity insurance and abide by a strict code of conduct which ensures that those using their services can do so knowing that they are in safe hands.

Green Fuse celebrants receive ongoing professional and peer support which ensures thatthe service they offer keeps pace with ever changing concepts and legislation.

Information will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and discretion. Green Fuse celebrants will work sensitively with family members so that conflicting ideas and views can be anticipated and carefully negotiated. Green Fuse celebrants are trained to be innovative and creative when writing services. They support one another in the sharing of ideas and resources which means that each celebrant is continually building a wonderful anthology of readings and inspirational material to help families choose something fitting for their occasion.
